If a customer receives a threat of an attack, identifies hostile traffic likely to be a pre-cursor to an attack, or detects an active attack, they should contact the Redcentric Service Management Centre (SMC) immediately.
A pre-arranged representative of the Customer needs to provide the following information for an active attack:
- Targeted host or subnet.
- Symptoms of the attach – such as degradation or complete loss, and whcih systems and/or applications are affected.
- Attack traffic type if known (e.g. DNS, NTP)
