Overview

A Group Page allows users to dial a single extension number and broadcast a message to multiple users through the speakers of the handsets. Multiple groups can be set up each with their own extension number.

• Group Paging Call: Send a group page to multiple users at the same time by dialling a single extension number.

Steps to Create Group Paging in BroadWorks

1. Navigate to Group Services

   • From the left-hand navigation menu, go to:

     GROUP > SERVICES > GROUP PAGING
     

2. Create a New Paging Group

   • Click Add or Create New Group Paging.
   • Enter a name and optionally a Line ID for the paging group.

3. Configure Paging Group Settings

   • Goto Addresses and add an Extension Number click OK.
   • Goto Originators and add users that are able to initiate a Group Page then click OK. 
   • Goto Targets and add a list of users that will hear the Group Page. 

📞 User Experience

1. Dial the Paging Group Number

   • From any phone within the BroadWorks system, dial the pilot number associated with the paging group.
   • This initiates a one-way audio broadcast to all members of the group.

2. Speak Your Message

   • Once the call is connected, speak your message. All recipients will hear it through their device speakers.

3. End the Call

   • Simply hang up when the message is complete. The paging session ends for all participants.
