1. Overview & Essential Facts
What is Unity Extend Day Pass?
- Day Pass is a 24-hour rolling roaming charge applied when using services in World Zone countries outside Home and Home Away regions.
- Day Pass subscribers receive:
- A flat charge for each 24-hour period, triggered from the first instance of data, voice, or outgoing SMS usage.
- A 24-hour allowance of unlimited minutes, unlimited SMS (MO), and 1GB of data.
- Once 1GB is reached, data speeds are reduced to 500 kbps.
- A new Day Pass is automatically triggered for each additional 24-hour period if the subscriber continues to roam and use services.
24-Hour Day Pass Allowance
- Voice: Unlimited minutes
- Messaging: Unlimited SMS (MO only)
- Data: 1GB, then throttled to 500 kbps
Prerequisites
- Day Pass is only available to subscribers with an active Global Pass subscription.
- Global Pass is not required in Home or Home Away countries.
- Day Pass must be enabled at the subscriber level.
A roaming policy allowing access to World Zone countries must also be assigned.
