A simple step‑by‑step guide for Android & iPhone users
🤖 Android Devices
Different Android phones show SIM information in different places depending on the brand (Pixel, Samsung, Motorola, OnePlus, etc.).
Below are the most common working paths, including for devices like the Pixel 9, which do not have a “SIM Manager” menu.
✅ Method 1 — Settings → About Phone (Works on ALL Android phones)
This is the most universal method.
- Open Settings
- Scroll down and tap About phone
- Look for Phone number, SIM status, or EID/eSIM info
You’ll usually see:
- Your phone number
- SIM/eSIM status
- IMEI and other device IDs
✅ Method 2 — Settings → Network & Internet (Pixel, Motorola, Some OnePlus)
For Google Pixel devices:
- Go to Settings
- Tap Network & internet
- Select SIMs
- Tap the active SIM or eSIM
Inside, you’ll see:
- Phone number
- Carrier
- eSIM details
✅ Method 3 — Settings → Connections → SIM Manager (Samsung Only)
This applies only to Samsung Galaxy devices running One UI.
- Open Settings
- Tap Connections
- Select SIM manager
- Choose the active SIM or eSIM
Phone number will appear under the SIM profile.
⚠️ If Your Number Shows “Unknown”
This is normal on some Android phones when:
- The carrier didn’t preload the number onto the SIM/eSIM
- You recently transferred your number
- The device hasn’t refreshed carrier settings
Fixes:
- Restart phone
- Toggle Airplane Mode
- Wait for carrier update
🍏 iPhone Devices
✅ Method 1 — Settings → Phone → My Number
- Open Settings
- Tap Phone
- Your number appears next to My Number
✅ Method 2 — Settings → Mobile Data
- Go to Settings
- Tap Mobile Data
- Select your SIM or eSIM line
- Your number appears under Line Details
