It is important to be aware of which diverts will be prioritised if multiple are in use.
The order of priority is:
- Call Forward Selective
- Call Forward Always
- Call Forward Not Reachable
- Call Forward Busy
- Call Forward No Answer
Call Forward Selective
Call Forward Selective allows calls that meet certain parameters to divert to any other destination entered into the Call Forward Selective option. These certain parameters include calls from certain times of day or specific days, specified numbers and private numbers.
Call Forward Always
Call Forward Always allows all calls to this user to divert to any other destination entered into the Call Forward Always option.
Call Forward Not Reachable
Call Forward Not Reachable allows calls that are unable to reach the user to divert to any other destination entered into the Call Forward Not Reachable option. The user can be unreachable for several reasons however the more common is that the phone may not be plugged in or it may not be configured for the user yet.
Call Forward Busy
Call Forward Busy allows all busy calls to this user to divert to any other destination entered into the Call Forward Busy option. Busy calls include when the user is set to Do Not Disturb and when the user is already on a existing call (without call waiting enabled)
Call Forward No Answer
Call Forward No Answer allows all calls that are not answered to this user to divert to any other destination entered into the Call Forward No Answer option. In this option the amount of rings before the call is classified as not answered must also be entered in.
