If users are experiencing reduced wireless range or intermittent handset connectivity, ECO Mode may be enabled. Disabling ECO Mode restores the base station’s normal transmission power and maximum coverage area.
Disable ECO Mode from the Handset
- Press OK to open the main menu.
- Navigate to:
- Settings
- System Settings
- Eco Mode
- Press Change.
- Untick / Uncheck the Eco Mode option.
- Press Save (if prompted).
Once disabled, the handset will use the base station’s full transmission power and the signal strength indicator will no longer display the ECO mode status colour.
Expected Result
After ECO Mode is disabled:
✅ Maximum DECT coverage is restored.
✅ Improved signal strength at longer distances.
✅ Reduced risk of handsets losing connection at the edge of coverage.
✅ Signal indicator returns to its standard display.
